SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Eastbourne Quality Meats is committed to delivering your quality meat products fresh, chilled, and ready for your kitchen. Due to the perishable nature of our goods, we currently maintain strict control over our delivery network.
1. Delivery Service Area
At this time, we only offer delivery services within the Wellington Region, New Zealand.
We utilize our own dedicated chilled delivery vehicle to ensure that your products remain at the optimum temperature from the moment they leave our premises until they reach your door.
We are actively working to establish partnerships with reliable couriers to expand our delivery coverage for chilled goods. We will update this policy once wider New Zealand shipping becomes available.
2. Order Processing Time

Order Cut-Off: To ensure the highest quality and freshness, all orders must be placed by 11 am for processing on the same day. Orders placed after the cut-off time will be processed on the next business day.

Processing: Orders are typically processed and packed within 2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
3. Delivery Schedule
We aim to deliver within the following estimated window once your order has been processed:

Standard Delivery Time: 2 business days after processing.

Delivery Days: Deliveries are made Monday to Friday. We do not currently offer weekend delivery.

Delivery Windows: Our chilled van operates between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM. We will provide an estimated delivery day upon confirmation of your order.
4. Delivery Fees
Delivery charges are calculated based on your location within the Wellington region and the total value of your order:

Standard Delivery Fee: $10.00 NZD

Free Delivery: Orders over $250.00 NZD qualify for free delivery within the Wellington region.
The exact delivery fee will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
5. Chilled Delivery & Customer Responsibility
Because you are ordering perishable, temperature-sensitive goods:

Safe Place Delivery: If you are not home, our driver will leave the package in the safest possible location. However, we strongly recommend that someone is available to receive the delivery.

Temperature Integrity: Once the delivery has been made to the address provided, you assume all responsibility for the meat's freshness and require immediate cold storage. We are not responsible for spoilage if the products are not retrieved and refrigerated/frozen promptly after delivery.

Incorrect Address: If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, and the delivery is missed or delayed, we cannot be responsible for product spoilage. A re-delivery fee may apply, or the order may be cancelled without refund if the goods are deemed unsafe for consumption.
